Erika Stillson

Studio Owner/Yoga Instructor/

Certified Personal  Trainer

My journey with yoga began during recovery from an injury, and I've never looked back. I started with Bikram Yoga and fell in love with its physicality. As I recovered, I began exploring other styles and discovered how much yoga could offer beyond the physical practice. My love of movement and my desire to share it with others have remained at the heart of my work ever since.

In 2019, I earned my RYT-200 certification through Myriad Yoga in Brownsville, Vermont. My teaching brings together my love of yoga, sports, and the outdoors, with an emphasis on purposeful movement, mobility, flexibility, and helping people feel more capable in their bodies. From classes designed for athletes to practices that encourage movement and recovery, I believe there is a place for yoga in an active, well-rounded life.

Strength for Life

My work has expanded to include personal training, bringing together my interest in fitness and my belief in the value of building strength for the long term. As a NASM-certified personal trainer, I work with clients to develop individualized approaches to strength, fitness, and physical wellbeing.

I'm particularly interested in helping women navigate perimenopause and post-menopause. My own lived experience of menopause has given me a personal appreciation for the changes that can accompany this stage of life and the importance of adapting how we approach fitness and health. I believe the focus should be on building and maintaining muscle, supporting bone health, and preserving strength and physical independence—not simply chasing a number on the scale.

My philosophy is simple: strong, not skinny. Training should support the life you want to live, whether that means enjoying the outdoors, returning to a favorite sport, or simply feeling stronger and more confident in everyday activities.

Life Beyond the Mat

Outside of teaching and training, I'm an avid skier and a wannabe gravel rider. I'm fortunate to live on the family farm, where spring finds me in the sugarhouse and summer in the gardens. My connection to the land and the active lifestyle it encourages remain an important part of who I am.

I look forward to helping you find an approach to movement that works for you.
